The team from the well-known TV Programme "BBC World News World Debate" arrived in Singapore yesterday. Hosted by the Institute of Water Policy, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, the debate at the Raffles City Convention Centre addressed the vital question "Are we running out of water?".

Singapore's Minister Mentor honours Water Week
Education, especially for women, plus people's attitudes and high-technology are what will change the world, according to Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. His comments were made during a dialogue session moderated by Professor Kishore Mahbubani, Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew Prize Award Ceremony and Banquet held at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore last night.

Water Week flows in on wave of challenges
Water will be the focus for the next few days at Suntec International Convention & Exhibition Centre. Singapore International Water Week fountained off to a rousing start with an optimistic address by Guest of Honour Mr Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence at its opening yesterday evening.
