The Water Convention 2012 Call for Papers is closed and the programme has been finalised. Authors will be notified of the Programme Committee's decision by the end of January 2012 via email. Upon your acceptance of the invitation to present at the Water Convention, you will receive further instructions via email on your registration for the conference and submission of your full paper and poster/oral presentation.

SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPER
Selected presenters should submit the full paper through the IWA Editorial Manager (www.editorialmanager.com/iwa-conferences). The deadline for submission of full paper has been extended until 10 May 2012. To submit the full paper, you will need to log in to your account and access "Submissions Needing Revision". Once there, click on "Revise Submission" in the action link of the relevant submission and follow the instructions. The full paper template is available from the link below. Submission of the full paper is highly encouraged as it will be included in the conference proceedings which will be distributed to the conference delegates. Full papers may be further reviewed and considered for publication in IWA's Water Practice & Technology journal after the conference. Selected papers will be informed of the decision after the conference by IWA publishing.
SUBMISSION OF POSTER SOFTCOPY
The posters will be printed on behalf of the poster presenters. The softcopy of the posters must be submitted by 10 May 2012. If the softcopy of the poster is not received by 10 May 2012, the presentation will be removed from the programme and the authors will be charged the non-presenter registration fee.
Guidelines for poster preparation:
1. Format of softcopy poster
The softcopy of the poster should be submitted in either of the following formats and resolution
a. pdf, ai or psd format at minimum resolution of 150 dpi
b. TIFF format at minimum resolution of 150 dpi at actual size
2. Poster size
a. AO size (80 cm wide and 120 cm tall) in PORTRAIT layout. Do not submit a poster in landscape layout or in a different size.
b. A sample of the layout is provided for your reference through the download link below. Please note that a photograph of the presenting author is not mandatory.
3. The posters will be printed as is, according to the quality of the submitted soft copy file. As such, the Secretariat will not be responsible for the distortions in the printed poster such as colour scheme and the inserted graphics or figures.
REGISTRATION FEES
All accepted oral and poster presenters are required to register for the Water Convention on their own and pay for the conference registration fees. Registration with full payment is required for all presenters, without which, the paper and presentation will be withdrawn from the Water Convention 2012 programme. Conference registration will commence on 10 February 2012 and the early bird registration deadline for presenters is 15 April 2012.
