Lee Kuan Yew Prize Award Ceremony and Banquet

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Prize Award Ceremony and Banquet will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore on 29 June 2010, Tuesday evening.  The 3rd  Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize will be given away during the ceremony.  In addition, for the first time, the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize will also be awarded during this evening of celebrations.

Venue
The award-winning Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is set amidst seven acres of tropical landscape.  The 32 storey tower with 608 rooms and suites is the largest Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the world and home to an impressive 4,200 piece contemporary modern art collection with works by artists such as Frank Stella, Dale Chihuly and David Hockney.  There are more than 35,000 square feet (3,252 square metres) of indoor and outdoor events space, including the awe-inspiring Grand Ballroom which can sit up to 1,200 guests.
