A water seminar for educators and youths, the Asian Water Symposium allows participants to share and engage in discussions for more effective water education programmes. The session brings in industry experts to discuss Singapore’s current water challenges and management from various case studies.
In line with Singapore International Water Week’s theme of “Sustainable Water Solutions for the Changing Urban Environment”, this year’s symposium focuses on providing a holistic water and environment education for the future generations. There will also be panel discussion on how youths can do their part to protect and advocate this precious resource.
Distinguished guests will also debate on the role of education and the use of teaching tools to spearhead and garner student participation in sustainable water solutions.
