Welcome to the German Pavilion at the Singapore International Water Week – SIWW 2018
On initiative of VDMA (German Engineering Federation) the German Ministry of Economics has decided to sponsor the German
Pavilion at the Singapore International Water Week - this year for the second time in succession.
Singapore has achieved a lot in terms of water quality and technical standards in recent years, for Example the used water
purification megaproject “Deep Tunnel Sewerage System (DTSS)”.DTSS aims for a cost-effective and sustainable
solution to support Singapore’s continued growth and meet its long-term needs for used water collection, treatment,
reclamation and disposal. However, responsible and concerted action for a sustainable usage of water is one of the
most important global aims of the 21st century. The German valves industry offers a variety of technical solutions which
do justice to this objective.
In this context, German suppliers of water and environment technology will be glad to present their products and solutions
to all customers at the German Pavilion at SIWW 2018. On behalf of all exhibitors, the Federal Ministry of Economics and
Technology (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the German Valve Manufacturer Association
(as part of VDMA) we wish all participants a successful show and extend a warm welcome to all visitors of the German Pavilion.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
