Dear valued exhibitor,

Advisory on scam emails posing as SIWW

We have been made aware that there are recent cases of scam emails and hardcopies mailers that SIWW exhibitors have received, inviting them to update or correct their data with their fair directories and subsequently billed for fees.

How does it work

These companies publicise their services with forms that resemble an organiser’s Free Catalogue Listing Service, inviting exhibitors to sign and return the form for a listing in a directory, which may contain fine print seeking payment for fees or subscriptions. The exhibitor will then be contracted into an agreement which require payment for the listing services. These companies will proceed to approach exhibitors for payment thereafter.

At SIWW, we ask for exhibitors to update their company profile via the Online Exhibitors Manual, which is circulated by our appointed sales partners or sales office. SIWW works with trusted partners whom we will introduce personally to you based on your business needs. If you are contacted by a company that seems to be affiliated with SIWW, we urge you to exercise caution if approached when receiving such correspondence to avoid possible unwarranted and/or unnecessary financial commitments.

Please take some time to read the Exhibitor Advisory and also visit our website for the updated notice.

Should you need any clarifications or verifications on SIWW communications, please do not hesitate to reach out to Ms Germaine Low at sales@siww.com.sg.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
