Accreditation Principles
- Editors of publications and media agencies are requested to take note of the following principles to ensure that media accreditation is restricted to professional journalists, reporters, photographers, and camera crews.
- The organisers consider the Media Pass to be a working tool to be used only by bona fide members of the press. Marketing personnel, staff of the publication’s secretariat, admin staff, etc. cannot be accredited as media.
- The organisers will only accredit publications and broadcast media:
- With a circulation size and quality that fulfil the criteria of the organisers
- With a format and quality that fulfil the criteria of the organisers
- Internal company publications cannot be accredited as media. However, at the sole discretion of the organisers, and where the quality and circulation criteria justify the organisers’ consideration, such publications may be eligible for accreditation on a case-by-case basis.
- Under no circumstance will advertising and public relations agencies (or similar companies and organisations) be accredited as media, nor will the organisers issue any media accreditation to media personnel (press officers or otherwise) of sponsors, suppliers, and exhibitors.
- It should be noted that no double media accreditation is allowed.
- Media personnel must be at least 18 years old to be admitted into the events.
- The organisers reserve the right to bar the applicant and their organisation from all future editions of the events due to misconduct or misrepresentation of their roles and responsibilities, publication, or news organisation.
- In the event that an applicant is unable to attend SIWW & CESG after receiving accreditation approval, they are advised to inform H+K as soon as possible.
