Goh Si Hou

Mr Goh Si Hou has led PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, since 2022. In this role, he is responsible for the supply of clean water, the reclamation of used water, and the management f storm water in Singapore. PUB is also Singapore’s coastal protection agency against the long term threat of sea level rise.

Prior to PUB, Mr Goh served in the Singapore Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence for 25 years. He held various command appointments, as well as leadership roles in strategic planning, resource management and personnel policy. He last served as the Chief of Army from 2018 to 2022. For his distinguished service, Mr Goh was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Gold)(Military) in 2021.

Mr Goh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cambridge University, and a Master of Arts in International Policy Studies from Stanford University. He also obtained a Master of Science in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Mr Goh was also a Distinguished Graduate of the US Marine Corps Command and Staff College.

Mr Goh has been a board member of PUB since 2021. He also served previously as a board member of the Housing Development Board (HDB), Ngee Ann Polytechnic, as well as the Singapore Technologies (ST) group of companies.
