Lucia is an experienced non-executive director and chair, with professional engineering and commercial experience across private, listed and government sectors. She has worked across Australia and New Zealand and collaborated internationally.

Lucia has expertise across a broad portfolio including utilities, manufacturing, waste recycling, energy research and infrastructure investment. She is currently chair of Paintback and Methodist Ladies College. She is also a director of The Environmental Group, Infrastructure Victoria, Urban Utilities, TasWater and the CRC for Future Fuels. She is known for her strong focus on innovation and excellence through investment in people and technology.

Lucia is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds both a Bachelor and Masters of Engineering and Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne’s Melbourne Business School. She was honoured as the Distinguished Alumnus for the Faculty of Engineering at Monash University in 2018 and was named Civil Engineer of the Year by the Department of Civil Engineering the following year. She is a life member of the Australian Water Association and was its first female National President.
