This special edition of the Singapore Business Forum at the SIWW Spotlight 2025 aims to share with the Singapore water industry on the various initiatives available to support the industry’s aspirations to grow, regionalise and internationalise their businesses with sharing from the Singapore Business Federation, Enterprise SG and PUB Singapore. Our industry counterparts from South East Asia will be also be invited to share on how our water industry can partner and explore business opportunities in the growing water market brought about by challenges of climate change and growing water demand.

Through case studies from the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore, participants will explore effective strategies, cutting-edge technologies, and key lessons learned in addressing urban flooding challenges. The session aims to showcase practical solutions, foster meaningful knowledge exchange, and promote collaboration among cities, agencies, and stakeholders, to build resilient communities in the face of escalating flood risks driven by climate change.

The Integrated Flood Management Community of Practice (COP) within ADB is organizing a training program for project staff from Developing Member Countries (DMCs) and respective Sector Group-Water and Urban Development (SG-WUD) project team members. Participating ADB project teams (comprising of ADB staff and DMC counterparts) will learn together in classroom sessions in the afternoon of 25 June and for the full day on 26 June. The participating teams will have an opportunity of enhanced learning through the In-Focus Forum and technical site visits organized by SIWW from 23 to 25 June 2025 and networking with peers. By jointly discussing challenges and solutions, participants are expected to adopt them to the specific project contexts in participating DMCs. The focus will be on shared learning objectives, knowledge exchange, and actions to be implemented following the training.
