Stefan Felder

Associate Professor, UNSW Sydney

Stefan is an Associate Professor in Hydraulic Engineering and the Deputy Director of the UNSW Water Research Laboratory. He leads the hydraulic engineering research in UNSW’s School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and is an internationally recognised expert in air-water flows, hydraulic structures engineering and fish passage. He is the Chair of the IAHR Hydraulic Structures Technical committee. He is enthusiastic about research that has direct implications for the real-world, and is actively pursuing to change the profession’s traditions towards the sustainable development goals.
