Capt. RR Doddihal holds a BE Civil First Class from Karnataka University. He served as Officer in Indian Army Corps of Engineers from 1976 to 1986. Later, he joined the Karnataka State Engineering services where he started as Assistant Executive Engineer and rose to the position of Chief Engineer. In his professional journey he has served in diverse fields in infrastructure projects such as Water, Roads, National Highways and Bangalore Metro Rail. He is currently the Chief Engineer and Task Manager for Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC), spearheading 24x7 water supply and sewage disposal projects; both in tendering and execution. As an acknowledged professional, Capt. Doddihal is a recipient of district level prestigious Rajyotsava Award in 2005 by the Government of Karnataka in recognition of his invaluable contribution. He also delivers lectures in several reputed institutes and engineering colleges across India. He has widely travelled in India and abroad on technical missions.
