Bhushan is the cofounder of Innovative Solution Pvt. Ltd. Since 2016, he has been leading the development and implementation of integrated management information systems (IMIS) in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal. This includes the development of an GIS-based Municipal Information System for seven cities funded by the ADB in Nepal, an Automated Building Permit System in 12 cities, Solid Waste Management Information System, Telecommunication Infrastructure Management Information System, and Industrial Information System. Bhushan was also a peer reviewer for the Nepal government’s initiatives of smart cities.

He has shared his expertise in creating urban database and developing urban information system for more than 20 cities in Nepal, Bangladesh, and India. Bhushan has also worked with the data related to water and sanitation, disaster management, ground water monitoring data, and COVID-19 data related to urban management.
